Tour One~Section Two
The Mill House
Beginning of Section Two Tour is The Mill House. The Mill House opened in 1968. Here is where visitors begin to see how imaginative Alex Jordan Jr. truly was. Once again, I failed with capturing a photo of what is claimed to be one of the wold's largest fire places. The Mill House is also the beginning of his massive collections. This house also contained some special doll collections as well suits of armor and mechanical banks.
Streets of Yesterday
In 1971, Streets of Yesterday was completed. This is a section that takes one back as if you are walking down a street back in the 19th Century in possibly an American town. Several shops and hundreds of antiques are on display.
The Gladiator Calliope is dated back to 1895 and is actually thought to belong to
the Austrian Emperor.
