We Want To Know

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesdays Q&A

Hosted by Mamarazzi and Crazymama

This week we are celebrating  ONE YEAR Anniversary of We Want to Know, the questions are from some of us who link up.

1. Vandy @ wants to know:  What is your quirkiest habit?

2.  D @ wants to know:  What TV show do you always stop to watch?

3.  Vanessa @ wants to know:  What do you miss most about being a kid?

4.  Jolene @ wants to know:   How many siblings do you have?

5.  Kenzie @ wants to know: How do you get yourself out of a funk?

Here are MY answers...

1. Vandy @ wants to know: What is your quirkiest habit?

Having to check several times and I mean several times that I unplug anything that can cause a fire.  I will have to go back and look at least 10 times.  I never want to have a fire again that is caused by me leaving something plugged in.  NEVER again.

2. D @ wants to know: What TV show do you always stop to watch?

Right now my “must see” are:  “Top Chef”, “Shameless”, “Spartacus”, “Dexter”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “Breaking Bad”, “Storage Wars”, and “Glee”.  The only active seasons at this time are “The Big Bang Theory” and “Glee”.  I also try to catch “Dancing With The Stars” but it is not a must.

3. Vanessa @ wants to know: What do you miss most about being a kid?

My Grandparents and closeness we had as a family.  I really miss the big family and the good times we had.

4. Jolene @ wants to know: How many siblings do you have?

I have 3 sisters.  I am the oldest and have a sister born exactly one year after me to the day.  Yep, we share birthdays, I believe we are called Irish Twins.  My parents 10 years later had a bonus (I like to call them bonus not oops!) and my Mom did not want an “only child” so they planned one more who was born 3 years later.  There are 13 years between the oldest and the youngest.  My poor Mom had her oldest (me) beginning college and her youngest starting Kindergarten the same year.

5. Kenzie @ wants to know: How do you get yourself out of a funk?

I tried to listen to music. (A little ummm...*face turning red* bedroom action works too)  Music seems to help me a lot.  Holding babies definitely brightens me up.  I always with draw during a time I am in a funk.  Typically for me since meeting Todd they are very short lived, however this year has been a rough one and I needed to seek counseling for help with controlling emotions and to be happier again.  It is working, not that I am skipping through the forest but I am not crying several times a day any more and I will take that any day.  Let the little cartoon blue birds fly with me, I am perfectly fine with that.

Come join the fun and play along with us!

  1. I have to check several times to see if the doors are locked lol.
music is always good for getting out of a funk...songs go with pretty much every situation in life..I think

  2. my aunts house burned down after she left her stove on and some bacon grease sparked a fire. it was such a devastating loss...whenever i see a house fire on the news my heart breaks for that family. i am so sorry that you have experienced this as well.

    your quirk is soooo justified.

thanks for linking up my friend.

  3. visiting from wwtk. Wow, 13 years apart!? I'm soooo afraid that will happen to us! We'll decide {we pretty much have} that we don't want anymore and then when the boys are almost teenagers we'll have a bonus lol

Thank you for stopping by and showing the love. I will reply back by email unless you have a no-reply email address set up and then I will reply within the comments.
