Cheeseburger Crescent Casserole

We tried something new for dinner tonight.  Cheeseburger Crescent Casserole.  It was delicious!

  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked, drained.
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
  • 1/8 cup mustard
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent dinner rolls.
  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees.  In a skillet mix the cooked hamburger and ketchup.  Heat until hot, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in the relish, mustard, and 1 cup of the cheese.
  3. Spoon into ungreased 9 or 10 inch glass pie pan.
  4. Separate dough into 8 triangles.  Place dough on top of meat mixture in a spoke pattern with points towards the center.  Pinching and inch of the crescent to form a crust.
  5. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top.
  6. Bake 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and crescent is browned.
Enjoy!  I made cheesy grits for the side dish.

  1. This looks sinful for a Sunday during Lent, LOL! I can't wait to cook again..eating out is getting too expensive and my tummy's hurting. ):

  2. My 19 year old saw this and said, "Mom, we gotta' make this." And by "we" he means me. :) Thanks for sharing. Looks yummy - minus those grits.. :p

  3. @ MiMi... our first time for the grits. LOL My photo doesn't do any justice to the dish. Enjoy!
